The Mt. Hood Cable Regulatory Commission (MHCRC) is pleased to announce the opening of its 2021 Community Technology Grants funding cycle and encourages eligible organizations to apply. The program supports local entities in producing video content to be shared on the community media center channels in order to support project-related goals and objectives.
This year, up to $800,000 is available to support use of technology resources for a public benefit.

Applicants Must:
- Serve residents within Multnomah County, OR
- Address at least one of the stated four public benefit areas:
- Reduce Disparities
- Improve Community Involvement
- Improve Service Delivery
- Cost Reduction
- Grant requests must be for Capital Costs only
- Produce video content to share on community media center channels
- Commit funding for 50% of the project budget
The MHCRC is a committed advocate and ally to those who have lived their lives in an environment of systemic oppression and racism. Commissioners engage in an internal analysis of each application submitted to our Community Technology Grants program. In addition to evaluating the submitted applications for meeting published eligibility requirements, the MHCRC integrates additional equity-focused metrics into our review process.

Pre-Applications Due: December 10, 2020
Applicants Invited to Submit a Full Application: by February 1, 2021
